How we work with Claude

We compared nine models on labelled plant photos and chose the Claude models that performed best. Each model is as strong as the job needs.

Claude Opus 5.5

Disease diagnosis

Assesses each photo with the indoor or outdoor setting, light, location and recent weather; returns up to three likely causes with a confidence level.

Claude Sonnet 5.5

Plant ID and soil reports

Answers in the user's language, warns about toxic plants, and turns lab reports into fertilizer advice.

Claude Haiku 4.5

Tohum

Matches a child's question to answers an adult has approved; it never chats freely with children.

  • Photos are not stored on our servers
  • No invented pesticide names or doses
  • Unmatched questions go to a human
  • Asks for a better photo when unsure

Founder

Selman Gündağ

Agricultural engineer, founder

I work in the field on plant physiology and smart greenhouse systems. I believe farming is not only a technical matter but also a cultural one, and I use technology not as a goal but as a tool that strengthens growers' decisions.

I design, build and run Tarım Rehberi and Tohum to bring growers' field experience together with the analytical power of data.
